Frequently Asked Questions

At Daily Smiles Dental, patients ask us questions every single day, and we’re always happy to answer them! We want you to have all the information you need to take great care of both you and your family’s smiles, so below, you’ll find several of our most popular FAQs as well as their answers. If there is anything else you would like to know, be sure to give us a call anytime!

How often should I get a checkup and cleaning?

Every patient, regardless of age, should receive at least two checkups and cleanings each year. These appointments enable our team to find and treat any issues as early as possible, and they can go a long way in preventing many minor problems from developing in the first place!

Can I bring my child to Daily Smiles Dental?

Yes! We welcome children of all ages, from toddlers to teenagers and everyone in between. Our team has plenty of experience with growing smiles, so we’ll ensure that your child stays completely comfortable during their appointments while we provide the age-appropriate services they need.

Why do I need dental cleanings if I brush my teeth?

Great question! The truth of the matter is that while brushing (and don’t forget flossing!) is essential for your long-term oral health, it’s simply not able to clean every single surface in your mouth. Over time, plaque accumulates in hard to reach areas, and this can eventually lead to cavities. With a professional cleaning, our hygienist is able to target these trouble spots and keep your smile nice and safe.

Can you help with a dental emergency?

Yes! Whether you’re dealing with a painful toothache, fractured tooth, or even a knocked-out tooth, we’re ready to provide the immediate care you need. Just give us a call, and we’ll schedule an appointment as soon as possible (preferably the same day!) so we can get you out of pain and fix your smile right away.

How do I get rid of the gap between my front teeth?

We have a few options to help with this common problem. You can get porcelain veneers placed over them, or we can use either braces or Invisalign to actually move the teeth closer together. Which option is best for you? Our dentists can let you know at a consultation. In any case, we can guarantee that we’ll make that gap go away!

Will you accept my insurance?

Yes, Daily Smiles Dental accepts virtually all PPO dental insurance plans as well as Medicaid and CHIP. No matter your provider, we’ll do everything we can to maximize your benefits at every visit, and we’ll even file the claims for you! To learn more about how we can help you save on your dental care, contact us today.

Is there a way I can finance my dental care?

Yes! Our patients can sign up for a low-to-no interest payment plan right through our website. They’re handled through CareCredit, a third-party financier we have worked with for many years. With them, you can quickly find a plan that will break up the cost of your care into much smaller monthly payments, helping any treatment fit comfortably into your budget.
